Practice that Green Thumb for Healthy Living

Practice that Green Thumb for Healthy Living

July 23, 2015 By Corey B

Clean air. It stimulates the brain, produces more red blood cells and improves the rate of muscle growth for the body. In fact, it is overall a happier environment for you to be in.

So what can we do to get more clean air to us in this era of heavy pollution? Well, the simple answer is to have more plants around you. The more plants around you, the better quality of air you will have.

Why is that? Because plants “breathe in” our carbon dioxide (a byproduct of our breathing) and they in return breathe out oxygen. So if you surround yourself with plants in your home, your air quality will naturally be elevated and healthier with all that oxygen around your house.

But wait! There’s a problem. You see, not all of us are blessed with that same green thumb our grandmothers had, now are we? I know I’m not.

That’s why today’s article is by far one of the most practical we can give you. If you want to surround yourself with some healthy oxygen, yet do not have the best green thumb in the world, these 9 plants will be right up your alley. They are not just great at cleaning the air, but they are also great when it comes to resisting our desire to bring about their untimely demise.

Yes, these plants are very “durable” and will last around your house for quite a while. Check them out.
