Harvard scientists have discovered a protein that helps reverse the affect of aging. The protein is called GDF-11 and they have tested this affect on old mice. They tested their hearts and discovered that the hearts went down in the thickness size and now looked closer to the hearts of younger mice. Dr. Richard Lee stated that the common cause of heart failure is actually related to the hearts aging and not heart attacks like many assume. By changing the way the protein circulates in the blood it can reverse the heart aging process. This even for a little reversal could add longevity to a life.
