The benefits of probiotics

August 16, 2017 By Darrell Miller

There are many benefits that probiotics offer people. If a person is suffering from a yeast infection, the best way to get probiotics in their diet is through yogurt. It is not good to eat the sweetened one. The sugars might have an impact on the bacteria. There are many yogurts available that are enriched with probiotics. They are also good to be used for irritable bowel syndrome. Probiotics will also help to relieve constipation.

Key Takeaways:

  • Eating plain yogurt, with no added sugars, will help reduce a person’s chance of getting a yeast infection.
  • Eating probiotics can help regulate IBS by giving people with the disease some relief by not eating foods with wheat or dairy.
  • By adding probiotics to your diet, you will regulate your bowel movements and feel better.

“The bacteria living in our gut play a necessary part in the processing and absorption of food, and now new data is coming out that shows that obesity might be related to the type of bacteria that you have and the development of some diseases. This has led to the rapid growth of the new field of probiotics whereby good bacteria are ingested to repopulate the gut with the hope that it may help to cure diseases and generally promote good health”
