The Effect of Vitamins on Your Physical Appearance

November 4, 2015 By Corey B

It’s important to maintain a diet that is rich in essential nutrients because of the many serious problems that can result from vitamin deficiency. Not getting enough vitamins can leave you feeling fatigued, unable to concentrate, nauseous, cramped, lacking energy and emotionally imbalanced. You may also find that your immune system seriously compromised without a regular infusion of the vitamins your body needs to function optimally. And for all they do to help us maintain good mental and physical health, vitamins also play a big part in our appearance.

If you become deficient in iron, you will become more pale and your hair will start to thin. A lack of folic acid in your diet can lead to the development of painful mouth sores, tongue swelling and prematurely graying hair. Conversely, vitamin A can keep your skin looking smooth and wrinkle free by boosting collagen creation. Vitamin B can help repair skin that has become noticeably dehydrated or sunburnt. Vitamin C can make the signs of aging on your face by making dark spots and fine lines fade. And vitamin B6 has anti-inflammatory properties, so it’ll keep your face from looking puffy. Click on the link below to learn more ways vitamins can change your appearance.
