October 26, 2017 By Darrell Miller

Brain health is affected by diet, exercise, hydration, socialization, and a normal sleep schedule. Letting blood sugars rise can cause the brain to become “foggy” and lowers cognitive thinking. Great ways of “exercising” your brain is by doing things like puzzles, reading, and partaking in hobbies such as drawing or painting. What we eat also affects brain function. Supplements can be taken to improve brain function if a physician approves. One of the most important things to do for your brain is to reduce stress and give your mind some relaxation.

Key Takeaways:

  • The gut is connected to the brain in ways, and keeping the good probiotics plentiful is important.
  • Modern research shows meditative exercises can improve ability of the brain and slow aging.
