Dark chocolate promotes heart health by reducing the risk of heart disease and by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Dark chocolate also promotes mental health by helping our bodies to produce more endorphins and it contains serotonin, an anti-depressant. Still we should eat even dark chocolate even in moderate quantities as it is high in fat and can contribute to weight gain.
