Liver is an extremely important organ and liver disease can have significant impact on our overall health. Its role is in blood filtration, as blood goes from digestive tract, flows through liver and then circulates to the rest of our body. Liver health and efficiency can only be achieved by a diet that is both balanced and healthy. Fibers are known to boost liver health, while fats and sugar may cause liver to work overtime, eventually leading to damage if liver cells.
