The FASEB Journal published new research suggesting that omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids commonly found in fish oil may promote brain health and prevent chemicals linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers supplemented the diet of mice with fish oil and found a correlation between the consumption of fish oil and cleansing of the glymphatic system. These findings further reinforce the importance of dietary fish oil, which is also linked to vascular health.
