Building Strong Bones

As we age, one of the things we need to persistently and consistently deal with is the issue of bone strength. It is no secret that as time goes on, our bones become weaker as we lose such important things as calcium.

With calcium deficiencies, we are faced the problem of keeping our skeletal system strong as we age. What can we do to combat such deficiencies?

Well, one thing which may help is improving our eating habits and eating foods that are rich in minerals that will help to support our skeletal systems.

One such food is spinach. Now, we know that it made Popeye strong as he finished his last bite, but we also know that spinach is strong calcium, containing about 25% of our daily intake need. This alone is reason to eat this superfood on a regular basis.

The more we can get such minerals in on a regular basis the better for our bodies on the whole.

Another food we ought to think about adding to our diets on a regular basis kale. Kale is known as a super food, one reason being that a cup of kale contains a good 25% of our daily calcium need. So have a cup of spinach and calcium per day and you already have half of your daily need.
