Residents of Onoway in Alberta, Canada have been experienced pink colored water coming out of their faucets. Mayor Dale Krasnow was quick to address the issue stating the pink water was safe and was a result of the weekly water filter washing by city works using potassium permanganate. The mayor apologized or not letting the town’s people know right away what was going on. Several townspeople however, still remain wary that the water, no longer pink, is safe.
