Potassium is one of the best nutrients that your body can consume. Potassium has many healthy benefits, one of the best benefits being speeding up muscle recovery.

Consuming sources of potassium is great after a workout to help fight off soreness. Many people think of bananas as the only good source of potassium, but there are actually other great sources of potassium.

In today’s article is a list of 7 foods that have more potassium than bananas. The first food is sweet potatos. The average sweet potato is filled with around 500 mg of potassium and is also a great source of vitamin A. The second source of potassium is white potato which is filled with around 900 mg of potassium.

Not only is it filled with the stuff, but it is also a great source of starch. Another source of potassium is watermelon. Two watermelon wedges is filled with 600 grams of potassium and can also help reduce risk of certain cancers.
