Dying bees should be alarming to humans- afterall, they play a huge role in our environment and without them, we would all be gone. As unusual as it sounds, this week, thousands of dead honey bees have been washed up on the coast of florida, begging several questions- why are there so many, and why are they all dead. It is speculated that they died due to recent pesticide spraying in the area, and that is concerning. Humans are so concerned about “keeping the bugs away” that they fail to think about the ecosystem as a whole and the footprint they leave.
