Constipation occurs when you’re lacking in fiber and water, there are several signs that let you know that you’re constipated and having a difficult time having a bowel movement is one of them. You can help move things along a little better with certain foods that you eat. Foods high in fiber are the best because it creates water in the gut that helps push it where it needs to go. Kiwi fruits do this as well, not just prunes, kiwi fruits help by creating more water than they have to start with.
