Some people who take on the keto diet find themselves lowering their blood pressure, improving blood glucose levels, and even getting more energy. Those people are finding that the problem is that they have high cholesterol and worry about their health. Some dieters experienced improved lipids, but higher LDL numbers are associated with cardiac events. Cholesterol often does rise for those losing weight, but balances out once the weight stabilizes. Additionally, energy will be low if your thyroid isn’t functioning properly.
