Is Your Water Too Acidic? Here Are The Most Damaging Brands

March 9, 2017 By VitaNet Staff

Water is the healthiest beverage available. Yet lab testing has shown bottled water can be detrimental to your health. Bottling companies use extreme filtration methods that take out natural minerals and nutrients. The result is what is called ‘dead water,’ which can be harmful for your body as it absorbs minerals form bones, joints and muscles. Some lab tests revealed bottled water to be acidic, which can lead to tooth decay. Furthermore, tests have shown phthalates, mold, microbes, benzene and even damaging heavy metals like arsenic in bottled water. Tap water, therefore, is the healthier alternative.

Key Takeaways:

  • If you think you’re making a healthy choice by buying bottled water, it might be time to think again.
  • Sure, this water might be safer to drink than your average tap water, but what is it doing to your health?
  • Both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Environmental Working Group (EWG) have determined through lab testing that bottled water is inferior to tap water.

“Companies like Aquafina and Dasani simply take the tap water, treat it with ultraviolet light to kill any bugs that probably aren’t there anyway, bottle it and make a vast profit.”
