KFC has announced that by the end of 2018, it will stop using mostly antibiotics on the chickens that they serve. Antibiotics are traditionally a used in chicken feed creates larger birds that can do better in massively cramped conditions. Antibiotics used in any livestock feed can produce a crisis of superbugs that are resistant to bacteria, creating an epidemic. Antibiotics used kill some bacteria but other bacteria can actually grow in higher amounts. It’s best to stay organic when possible to avoid exposure.
