lysine amino acid is essential for human cells

October 15, 2015 By Corey B

Lysine is an essential amino acid. The body cannot produce essential amino acids and that is why they must therefore be supplemented. Lysine, together with Vitamin C (taken for one year), helps cure arteriosclerosis and clean cholesterol from blood vessels. Amino acid lysine slows herpes virus reactivity and multiplication. Once contacted, the herpes virus stays in the body, dormant in the central nervous system, without causing injuries. It can reach the skin surface when the virus reactivates and begins to circulate through the nerves. These are the first symptoms that predict the occurrence of herpes.

Athletes, vegetarians, patients with burns need a much larger amount of lysine. With insufficient quantities in the body, manifestations appear as fatigue, nausea, dizziness, loss of appetite, bloodshot eyes, agitation, anemia and slow growth. Due to overload, bodybuilders and athletes’ muscles need lysine to recover fast. Lysine has a role in hormone production, maintaining the level of nitrogen and protein needed to develop muscles.

Lysine supplement has a role in collagen formation. Along with lysine, it also contains Vitamin C which, besides its well-known antioxidant properties and to strengthen the immune system, contributes to building and maintaining the structure of collagen, as well as lysine. The lack of vitamin C leads to the degradation of connective tissue and the weakening of certain structures of the body. Vitamin C, like lysine, stops to accommodate different viruses in our body cells.
Supplements
A balanced and nutritious diet is essential for maintaining good health. To prevent reactivation of latent virus, eat plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables and lean meats and fresh fish. To provide the best conditions for immune system to repel any attack of herpes virus challenging reduce alcohol, caffeine and carbonated drinks.

Failure of lysine in food intake is impaired blood flow as a consequence, reducing the number of erythrocytes in blood hemoglobin content, causing muscle tiredness, disturbances in bone calcification, various pathological changes in liver and lungs.
