A new study out of the UK has found a link between low vitamin D levels and bladder cancer. While low vitamin D levels are not in-and-of-themselves the cause of bladder cancer, it may be that low levels can increase your risk. Previous studies have shown the importance of vitamin D in preventing a host of other health issues. Vitamin D can be taken as a supplement or commonly found in foods such as eggs, milk, and many fish species.
