Jordan Figueiredo is an activist against food waste and launched a campaign called Ugly Fruit and Veg. The campaign makes it clear that just because fruits and vegetables don’t look perfect, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t still tasty and healthy. Often, these ugly fruits and vegetables are thrown away, contributing to over one billion tons of food waste annually.
