A modern lifestyle ensures that most of us are exposed to an array of toxins in our food, water and air everyday. Fortunately, expensive gadgets and ingredients and complicated techniques are not essential to remove these invaders from our bodies. The human body has built in toxin removers already, in the form of an arsenal of hard-working organs that do the job on a regular basis. However, these hard workers can get sluggish and may need a reboot from time to time.

Stress, sickness, poor diet, and other factors can make our bodies less than the toxin-removing powerhouses they were born to be from time to time. So, to reset their abilities and get them back on the right track there are some things you can do for a specific period of time, say three, five, or seven days. Veto the processed foods and sugar-laden drinks and eats for the time allotted. Instead, go for lots of clean water and herbal tea. Instead of salt, use herbs on your food. Up your intake of fresh veggies and fruits. Try grass-fed beef, or free-range chicken. Don’t forget to get plenty of sleep and exercise moderately.
