Glucomannan is something that has many different health benefits and it typically known as a weight loss aid. It is a type of soluble fiber and it’s health benefits come from it’s expansive properties. Since glucomannan is a soluble fiber it can absorb a lot of water and then solidfy into a gel. That gel then goes into our stomach which helps us feel full. Glucomannan helps us reduce insulin and leptin resistance, normalizes blood sugar and reduces inflammation.
